Simple and EASY Newspaper, Tissue, and Paper Towel Flowers

Making art out of simple things is wonderful.  Take a little bit fo newspaper and some glue, you can make amazing flowers!!  I learned how to make flowers using two different EASY methods, that evenr kids can do.  My 5 year old had a blast making the flowers right next to me.

You start with some pretty easy materials.  Some newspaper, but I acutally used the circlar ads that come in my mailbox since we do not get a true newspaper, and some Supertite White School Glue.  This glue is amazing since it has the lowest chemicals of any kids glue out on the market!

We also did a few flowers in tissue paper, the smae paper you use for packing or for gift bags!

A little bit of mist on the flowers and they look amazing!!  I used the Dragonfly Tattered Agnels Glimmer mist on the flowers above and below.  Thge flower above is using the twisting method in the video.

The flower above is using the rolling flower method.

We also misted a few flowers in Party Pink Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist.

I tried a few flowers using the tissue packing paper, they are fuller and just as fun to make!

When using mist I always put a paper towel under my projects to aid in the cleanup process.  This time instead of just throwing then away, I thought why not make a flower of the paper towel, it looks a lot like a tie dye shirt!

Since I used two colors of mists, some of the flowers became a two toned color flower, and they are still all held together with Supertite White School Glue!
