M is for Mischief Layout **Creative Embellishments & Tattered Angels & Canvas Corp & 7 Gypsies & CSI Color Stoires & Beacon**

My son Morgan loves to hunt and find little critters everywhere he goes from mammals, bugs, reptiles, fish, birds, and crustaceans it does not matter.  He turn over rocks and climb into streams and ponds to find fun new "friends".  He is a true naturalist!  On this occasion he found a little garden snake in our backyard, it is really small and called an earth snake.  Morgan was beside himself and ecstatic that he found it and that I let him hold it (snake eats only small bugs and is completely harmless).  So for my little rugged boy Morgan, here is my "M is for mischief" layout just for you!

Here is the process video for this fun layout.

I used the CSI (Color Stories Inspiration) Case File 198 as the inspiration for my layout being a Special Investigator for them this month.  I used all 5 colors, 3 evidences are stripe, mesh, and string, and the testimony is documenting something about nature.

I used the most amazing chipboard for this layout including Circle Chain Frame and Social Hashtags (#happy).  I used lots of mists to get the fun grungy colors on the chipboard.

Here are some up close pictures of my layout.

Thanks for looking!!  Now go get grungy :)

DIY Floral Paperclips **Makin's Clay & Tattered Angels & Beacon** w/ Video Tutorial

I have love the look for the the little paperclips with the embellishments on the end, so when I get my box of goodies from Makin’s Clay®  I had to make a set, but what to make?!? - FLOWERS!!!  But not just any flowers, colorful ones that had a pretty shine and on some fun shaped clips!!

So the first thing I did was to blend my clay using the Multi Neon pack of Makin’s Clay® colors and I played blending every shade using the Makin’s® Clay Mixing Ruler™ blending even amount of colors from size E. See the video tutorial below on how to mix the clay with the Makin’s® Clay Mixing Ruler™

The next step was to make the shapes, so I used the Makin’s® Push Molds Floral and use various flowers with the clay colors I made above.  Here is a video on how I made the flowers with the molds.

Now for the last step, turning these amazing air dry clay flowers (I let mine dry over night) into cute little clips, but first let paint them with Tattered Angels Glimmer Glam in various colors such as Icicle, Waterfall, Wicked, Plumeria, and Desert Sun to make them all shiny and pretty!!  See below video for the final steps to making these super cute floral paperclips!!

I think my favorite are the yellow ones with the yellow glaze they just really shine!!

Here are the supplies I used from Makin’s Clay®  to create these fun little clips:

The possibilities are endless for these fun clips, use them on a planner, card, mini book, tag, scrapbook page, and more!!  Now what am I going to use these fun little clips on - maybe a mini book!!

Here is a detailed video on how I organized it all!!

Some up close shots.

This is the organizer I used, just stacked 2 high.

This is where I keep my organizer for easy access!!

Cute Trio of SImple Cards **Canvas Corp & Tattered Angels & Eyelet Outlet & Rubbernecker Stamps & Beacon** w. video Tutorial

I got into card making mode and this time I used one sketch to create 3 cards in different colors.  Come take a look!!

I just got the new resins bows from Eyelet Outlet and I had to make something with them, so take a look at my process video!!

Here is a look at each card up close.

Instead of placing a sentiment outside the card, I placed it inside using the Rubbernecker Stamps.

http://www.rubbernecker.com/

For the card base and cardstock I used Canvas Corp products.  I actually used the back of printed cardstock that I had scraps of and it had a ivory or kraft background, best way to save money!!

Tattered Angels colors I used to match the colors of the resin bow and flowers.

I matched the colors of the resin bows with the flowers, brads, and enamel stickers to give 2 colors per card.

Precious Layout **Creative Embellishments & Canvas Corp & CSI & Beacon**

Last spring our entire family went out peach picking in central Texas.  They had a special that is your wore red clothing you would get a discount per pound on the peaches you picked, and wow are they good peaches!!  Do we all dressed up red shirts, shoes, socks, and shorts (except for my daughter had to wear her blue tutu skirt, hehe) and we set off to get 12 pounds of peaches, and they are long gone!

Here is the full process video on how I made this super cute layout.

I got to join CSI Color Stories as a guest deceive with Creative Embellishments.  I used the sketch and the jumping off point for my layout, then kept with the color scheme of the yellow, pink, white, grey and black.  I took the feel of the layout from the scene of country life, and picking peaches isn't easy country living not sure what is!!?!  My evidence that I used is paint, jute, flowers, and a decorative border.  My testimony is my journaling.

Here are the supplies I used from Creative Embellishments and Canvas Corp Brands.

Punch Card Ribbon Storage in Tilt Bins **Deflecto** w/video Tutorial

I have been battling with my ribbon storage for a while, pretty much just dumping it in 2 containers without much organization and it has gotten to be a mess!  As soon as I saw the Tilt bins from Deflecto I knew I had the answer to my ribbon/thread/lace pretty much anything on a spool organization problem.

Here is the complete tutorial on how I organized my mess of ribbon in to this neat and organized unit!!

Each color of ribbon has its own bin for easy access to find the perfect ribbon for my crafty needs!!

In each bin I stored each ribbon on a punch card I created from the Deflecto Sign Tag sheets and then laced the ribbon thought to help keep it all organized.

The beauty of these Deflecto Tilt Bins is that they stack and slide onto each other to make one unit!!  I used the 5 and 6 drawer tilt bin, but there are other sizes.  They even come with hardware to mount it onto the wall!

Here are the deflecto products I used to organize my ribbons

I now challenge you to to organize your ribbon stash!!
