Heat Embossed Halloween Treat Bags **Brutus Monroe & Canvas Corp & Beacon**

I love to make handmade gifts for my teachers, nothing big, but something to say thanks for helping my kids.  This year the teachers are getting heat embossed little paper bags with a Halloween stamp and a cute little Halloweeen clip I made (click here for tutorial).

I used the Canvas Corp small paper bags in black and heat embossed in Gilded Embossing powder with the Chuck Carson Halloween stamp line on 5 bags.  I then topped them off with a little Halloween clip I made earlier this season.  Here is the live Facebook video on how to make these fun bags with the supplies and close up pictures below.

This idea of heat embossing on a bag works for any occasion, here I try out one of the new stamps from the Holiday Sentiment Stamp set to make a fun treat bag.  I use the Pinecone stamp from the Sketched Holiday Stamps set heat embossed with gilded embossing powder on white paper, fussy cut it out, and glued to a white clothespin clip.  Super easy to make thees little bags for any holiday, just change out the color of bag, stamp, and embossing powder!

Simple and Easy Easter Treat Bags **Canvas Corp Brands & Bella Blvd** w/ Video Tutorial

I  made some super cute and easy little Easter or Spring treat gift bags to pass out the friends, neighbors, teachers, or the community.  These are super quick and easy to assemble and a great way to tell those around you thanks for being apart of our lives!!!

Easter Wreath **Canvas Corp Brands & Bella Blvd** w/ Video Tutorial

I have been wanting to create spring wreath for some time, and I have finally gotten around to doing it and it came out so cute!!  I got this amazing box of goodies from Bella Blvd and Canvas Corp Brands to show how well they would work together, and how to create something a little different with traditional scrapbook supplies, so it wreath it is!!

Easter Gift Bags **Paper House**

I wanted to give a special gift to our teachers, friends, and neighbors for this Spring/Easter Season.  So we picked out of some candy and use the wonderful Paper House papers and stickers to make a cute and easy treat bags for these special people in our life to personally give them something to brighten their day.

I used the wonderful Rejoice 6x6 paper pad for this project and the corresponding Cardstock stickers.  They just screamed SPRING to me and were full of wonderful spring colors and themes of cute little animals and flowers.

I mostly used the papers with says on them, they fit perfectly over the bags and had everything I wanted to have on the front of the bag, a cute animal  or flowers and then a wonderful saying, perfect!!  I did use some of the papers with out sayings on them, so I added it with the Rejoice stickers, the colors were a great match!!

 

These bags could not be simpler to make.
1) Tear out paper from paper pad and cut off the white trim.
2) Ink all edges with brown ink.
3) Fold in half.
4) Fill little baggie with candies of choice and staple or close top so candy does not fall out (remove all air).
5) Staple folded paper over the top of the baggie so just the candy shows at the bottom.
6) Decorate as you wish with stickers on the front of the baggie.
