Partial Die Cut Two Fold Fun Fold Winter Snowmen Cards

Fun fold cards are a blast, and in this card I teach you how to blend a 2 fold fun fold card with a half die front fold for a cute winter snowman card!

The key to these cards is the special die that cuts only half of the image out.  You can do the same thing on your own projects, just roll your image only half way through the die cut machine, or cut your dies in half.

To hold all the super cute papers and elements together I used my Xyron tape runner.  It is the perfect adhesive that is so easy to use and also super strong!!!

Now here is the best part, why it is a fun fold card!!!

Look how it it opens, so cool!!  The measurements are below.

Measurements Base - 4.25 x 8.5 - score at 5"
Inside card - 3.75 x 9.5 - score at 5 (extra will be cut off when you die cut half of the stamped image - final size 3.75 x 9

Twisted Gate Fun Fold Card using Scrapbook

I just love fun fold or fancy fold cards.  So I tried my hand a fun new fold called a twisted gate fold card.  My fun twist on it is I used a fun patterned paper stack as the main layers for the cards, a great way to use of all those fun papers we have in our stash!

I made 3 versions of the card, the only change is how it is all orientated.  If it opens to the side, upwards, etc.  Here is the first card.

For this card the opening is pulled up to allow a horizontal stamp.

The second card I die cut out a bird from one of the patterned papers as the front element.

Measurements for the card to allow it to fit into an A2 sized envelope.

Base

7.5 x 5.5 in
Score at 2.5 and 5 inches

Score at diagonal on the left and right sides to make the twist fold as seen in the video.

Mat dimensions

4 x 2.25 in - cut on the diagonal for triangle sections.

For this card it opens sideways, allowing a vertical stamp inside.

And the last card all held together with Xyron adhesive. I used the Xyron tape runner to place all the elements of the papers to each side, it works like a charm!!

Stenciled Glitter Background Cards

Need to make some quick and pretty Valentine's Day cards for those special people in your life?  Check out this fun idea using the NEW glitter paint and stencils to make something amazing!!

I used various TCW stencils with Adaline izink Diamond Glitter Paint to make the backgrounds for each other these cards.  I used a ton of the different colors of the glitter with about 8 different stencils, and they all look amazing!

I then die cut out a heart and stamped LOVE on it and then used a homemade "pop" dot from leftover cardboard from a postal box run through my Xyron 3" Sticker maker to pop the heart off of the glitter background.

The cardboard is stick on both sides from running it through the Xyron machine and it adds a little elevation to the heart on the card!

I then used my Xyron Mega runner to stick the glitter background to the card base, work like magic every time!

You can make these cards for any time of year, just use a fun sentiment of your choice!
