DIY Glam Flowers to Dress Up Flip Flops plus and Shabby Chic Card

I just love to make flowers, and the easier the better!!  These flowers so super easy to make because most of the work is already done for you with the flower trim from Expo International Inc. and Supertite Glue.

Various companies provided me with some product to create this project.  The opinions I share are solely my own.

These flowers are super simple to make.  Check out the video below.

To assemble the flowers I used Supertite Fabric Tac adhesive.  It created a wonderful stick between the gem and the fabric flower.

One project I used the flowers on was to re purpose a pair of flip flops for my daughter.  I added a white flower to a old pair of flop flops that my son had grown out of and then added some extra gems along the side as well.  The gems, trims, and flowers are all from Expo International  Inc.

Just look how cute these flip clips are now!

They went from blah to glam with just a few materials!

I also used the same flower that I made but this time in the black material to make a card.  One simple flower can be use to create so many different things!

Check out the video on how to make this card!

To glue all the layers of papers, flowers, mesh, and gems I used the Supertite All Purpose Universal Adhesive.  It works like a charm!

What will do make with fabric flowers?

Fun Ways to Use Fringe Trim - On a Tote and a Card!

I just love fringe, and the colors and varieties that Expo International has is amazing!!!   I used the same fringe in 2 very different ways, one on a summer tote bag and the other in a card!  Lets start with the tote first.

Here is a video on how to make this fun fringe summer tote.

Simple supplies needed to make this toe, a couple of fun trims from Expo International, fabric glue, and a jute tote!!

I used the shanti 2"multi color fringe paired with the 4" chainette trim in gold layered on top of each other on the Parker bar handle tote bag.

I took some of the fun gold fringe left over and decided to see how it would work on a boho card.  I paired it with some washi tape feathers I made and it turned out super cute!!

Here is the video on how I made the card

I start with making the washi feathers first.

1) Start with some crafting wire add a strip of washi tape to right down the middle.

2) Fold over the washi tape over on itself and the wire.

3) Trim the top and bottom to make a feather shape.

4) Using scissors fringe out the tape to make it look like a feather.

Here is the batch I made for the card.  Details on how to make them wider in the video!

I then layered the trio of feathers over the flower with a little of the gold Expo Trim under it for a fun boho layered flower competel with a vintage button on top.

You do not need much of anything else going on in this card since the boho flower with the fringe and feather steals the show!!

I used the wonderful glue from Supertite to help hold all the layers of this card together.  I used the All Purpose Universal Glue and its hold is amazing!!
