I love to make embellishments using paper, sequins, embossing powder, glitter, dies, and ribbon. Really I just love to make embellishments!! I think it adds a little something extra special to each of my cards that are not only hand made, but also have a little extra handmade love on them! So here are 10 cards where I hand made some sort of embellishment on it. Some are simple and some complex a little bit of something for everyone!!

On this card the embellishment is part of the background paper, it is the glitter flower. I used a stencil and green glitter paste to create the flower, drew in the stem, and added in Nuvo Drops for the center.
On card 2 I made the flower at the top corner. You take layers of punched or die cut flower shapes from paper squish them up and layer them to make a really fun flower!! Add a little of the glitter paste and it is super sparkly! Check out the video for full details on how to make this flower.
Here is card 3 the embellishment is the paper that is embossed with a flower stamp and gold embossing power. Some times the simplest things make the biggest statement!
On card 4 the embellishment is the tag that is layered up with a stamp, sequins, and a little jute bow!
For this card I used a toucan die and colored the beak and backed the die with white paper with the die cut being in black. It is just too cool!!
On card 7 I made a simple 2 layered gold flower with a sequin center, simple but elegant!
On this card I used a simple punched out butterfly from gold cardstock. I love easy embellishments!!
On card 9 the embellishment is the strips of paper, adding to it are the wooden pre-made flowers and sequins make this card pop!
The last card I made a flower out of gold ribbon. It is fun to make and a great way to use up that stash of ribbon!!
What types of embellishments do you like to make?
I used the May Love from Lizi kit to make all the fun cards. Almost all the supplies are in the kit except for the adhesive, ink, stamp blocks, and a couple sheets of white cardstock. Here is the unboxing video to show all the supplies in this fun kit!
