DIY Paper Bag Mini Album

It is fun to make a little mini albums from a vacation.   We just got back from a family trip to Canada (where I am from) visiting with my parents in BC and I decided it would be a fun little gift to give my parents the mini album of our trip this year.  This time I made the mini book out of 4 small paper bags. 

Various companies provided me with some product to create this project.  The opinions I share are solely my own.

Here is the video on how assemble the mini book.  It is super simple, but a couple of tips make this book have a ton of options.

You just need a few simple supplies to make this mini album, paper bags and Xyron Adhesive, and if you want to add some twine it makes it that much more fun!

On the pages that are not inserts I added fun pictures starting with a family picture.  It was taken at the top of a trestle, the 2nd largest in the world!

I then went from youngest to eldest for the main picture of each kid, so it started with Catherine and a pic of her a Maple Bay beach, one of my favorites!  All the Photo Play papers we wonderful for this mini album.  Such wonderful colors and embellishments make this book a breeze to make!

Next to Brandon and his fun with the birds in Victoria.  Her was so calm with the birds and they loved him!  Check out the video for the full story.

On to Morgan, he loves the beaches and lakes and would hunt for any living little fish, sear star, snail, frog, shrimp, crayfish, worm, snake, crab, clam, or any of living thing he could find and boy did he find a ton!  I used the Xyron Mega Runner to hold all pages of the to the book and to stick down all the pictures to the papers.  It is super easy to use and makes a book like this so fast to make.

In a paper bag book you get a ton of sections that you can inserts into.  Some inserts I added in more pictures, and some I left blank for journaling, and other I just left for embellishments.  It was super easy to use the Xyron 3" Sticker Maker to turn all the little bits of papers into stickers to make these little inserts super fast to make.  Here is a little montage of the insert pages.

On each of the inserts there is a little pull tab so you can pull the page out from the paper bag book.  Some of the inserts are ribbons stapled and some are the little ephemera pieces that are turned into stickers with the help of the Xyron 3" Sticker Maker.

This was a fast and easy book to assemble thanks to such great papers to work with!
