Spooky Glass Eyeball Key Chains

I love Halloween and making fun little crafts that border on the cute and spooky.  So I grabbed some printable eyeballs and some jewelers glass and made some spooky key chains!

Various companies provided me with some product to create this project.  The opinions I share are solely my own.

Here is a video on fun and easy these are to make.

The eyeball printable had so many fun eyes to pick from, the creator did such an amazing job!  Click HERE if you want to print it out yourself.

I started out etching the glass jewelry pieces from Craft Fantastic with Etchall Dip 'n Etch to give them that spooky look to make the eyes look more like a zombie.  Just pop the glass in the etching solution for 15 minutes and any glass gets that frosty zombie look.

I am not sure which eye I like better they are both just to spooky!

I used the Supertite Universal Eco Glue to hold the paper eye and also to the metal cabochon, it they hold wonderfully!!

Which eyeball would you pick?

NEW Dollar Tree Hallmark Cards

There is a new launch of beautiful cards at Dollar Tree that are made by Hallmark that are so cute and super cheap!  They are great for that last minute card  you need, or inspiration for your own handmade cards.  Just check out the sample of cards you can get at you local Dollar Tree.  I think my favorite is the shoe card, it is just so much fun!  Plus check down below for a fun way to store all those cards you get from the holidays or birthdays in a little mini book!

I was compensated for this post. This post also contains affiliate links and I will be compensated if you make a purchase after clicking on my links.

Here is a video showing each card in detail.

There are a few new lines and the 2 that I got a close up look at are the Heartline and Expressions collections.  The Heartline collection is a super affordable card set that are prices at 2 for $1, which is totally amazing!!

The second set of cards is set at $1 each and they are a bit larger and have a few fun little layers, folds, or are from Disney and cater to both the boy and girls with super heroes and princess themes.  My daughter loved the Ariel card, she tried to steal it as soon as she saw it!

I truly cannot tell the difference between the $6 cards you get at the grocery store and these Dollar Tree cards.  They are great and super high quality, and for that price you cannot beat it!  Now I am all for a handmade card and these cards are great for some inspiration for color and design.  There were 4 or more cards in the set I have that gave me some amazing inspiration.

There are also 4 other collections launching at the same time.

Mahogany: Mahogany enhances emotional connections among family, friends, and the community, and celebrates what is most beloved about Black culture.

Vida:VIDA expresses the voice of Latinos across generations, bringing them closer together to celebrate life’s special moments.

Tree Of Life: Tree of Life brings Jewish family and friends together to celebrate their faith and culture by honoring meaningful holidays and milestones.

Joyfully Yours: Joyfully Yours lets family and friends express their faith in just the right way during holidays, special occasions, and moments big and small.

The best part is that these cards are now at your local Dollar Tree, woot!!!  Go get your cards and inspiration now!!

A little bonus crafty idea for the cards you or your kids get to help store them for years to come, turn them into a mini scrapbook!!

1) Start off with a portion of chipboard or cardboard and make a front and back cover.

2) Punch a hole into the top right corner of each of the cards.

3) Add some ribbon through the holes of all the cards and add the front and back cover of the mini book together.  Boom you have a mini book filled with you card memories!

Such a fun way to keep the memories from any special event!

Easy Card Background Technique Using Stencils & Ink

Stencils have so many uses, and one great one for card making is to make cool backgrounds with a little ink.
Various companies provided me with some product to create this project.  The opinions I share are solely my own.

Here is a video on how easy this technique this is.

Pick a stencil that has a background you like and a color of ink that is you weapon of choice.  Add some layers of papers to the card and you will have a fun and easy card with a little personal touch with the custom background.  I also paired the first card with the Starstruck Lavender Rinea Foiled Paper.

You can switch around the stencil to make a different pattern and add some different lines.  I also paired the second card with a Starstruck Ebony Rinea Foiled Paper and for both card used a super cute stamp set from Joy Clair called Butterfly Kisses.

I used Supertite so I pulled out my Supertite Max Glue Pen to make sure all the layers are stuck down!
