Gift Boxes w/Detachable Ornament **Xyron & Pebbles** w/video

I love the look of pretty presents under the tree; nicely wrapped and just begging to be opened.  I always have tons of scrap paper, seems like I will never run out, but i never have wrapping paper, so why not turn your scrapbook paper into another use?  I hate to waste it though and just rip it apart, so I turned these boxes into reusable gift boxes boxes that will not ruin the pretty paper.  And to top it all off a pretty "bow" that is actually an ornament!!!

I just love the pretty colors of the new Pebbles Winter Wonderland Collection.  Full of pretty pinks, purples, teals, blues, and greens.  Below are the papers I used for the boxes.

Pebbles even has matching embellishments to go with the amazing papers!!  The Pebbles Rosettes and Snowflake Chips are so pretty and just make any project pop!!  What to use to hold it all together, Xyron of course!!

I can just see these hanging on a friends tree!!

Below is a detailed video of how I made these two fun boxes and the matching ornaments.

Happy Holidays!!

Thanksgiving Placecards **Die~Namites**

I love to have named placecards for my guests at a formal dinner like Thanksgiving.  I am not hosting this year, but they are my gift to the hostess this year!!

Placecard Tutorial

1) Placed a 3"x 4" sheet of Canvas Home Basics cardstock (in red, yellow or kraft inked with brown) inside the plastic sign holder.

2) Cut a second sheet measuring at 2.5" x 3.5" from the same colors mixing them around so the two sheets of paper are not the same and also inked  them with brown ink.

3) Cut out 3 Fall Breeze Die~Namites shapes and ink in brown.

4) Wrap the in twine (brown/white, lime green, orange, and yellow).

5) Cut a 0.75" x 1.5" section of paper for the name and write with a brown calligraphy pen, ink the edges of the paper, and glue down.

6) Add in a Thanksgiving sticker and some gems or sequins of choice as seen.

7) Place mini sign at place setting at the table for your guest to know where they sit for the yummy meal!!

Ornament Card **Blog Hop** Die~Namites

I love to make cards for people for Christmas.  I know it is early, but when you need to make quite a few cards, time gets the best of you and you have to get started early!!

Come hop along with Die~Namites to win!!

Hello and welcome, we could not be more excited to share our Designer Team Blog Hop with you! The Blog Hop will be the third Friday of every month and each of us will be sharing a fun tip or technique. We love to hear what others are doing and how they are saving time and getting the best use from their die cuts. So here we go, start the hop with us and two random people will win a $10 Die~Namites Gift Card to buy in our store.

Tip of the Day
Using delicate dies such as the Die~Namites "Beautiful Ornament" below, is very intricate and delicate.  How do you apply it?  Tape runners could pull and tear it, glue sticks are messy, so using a sticker maker is the best solution I have found so far.  Xyron and Stick-It are the two that I know of, and both work great.  I used the Xyron 3" Sticker Maker for this project.

Beautiful Ornament

Amazing new dies are now available in the store!!  Check them out HERE!
