I have had these round pavestones in my garden for a while and I had an idea brewing for what to do with them, paint them!! Now I am not a great free hand artist, I am a stick figure kind of person, but I have these amazing stencils from The Crafter's Workshop and I thought, why not stencil them to paint them! I can do that!
I did 2 different versions with the 2 stones I had, one in a black paint and just using the vineyard stencil, the second in a pale green paint but this time I added in little flowers for fun. Here is a video on how to make these fun painted garden stones.
I love the look of both I am really not sure which I like more, but to keep things looking consistent I might add flowers to the black vine one.
I love the little flowers on this green vine stone, I drew them with pencil first so could place them out as I wanted.
This is a fun summer craft for the kids too. So many possibilities, just use a different stencil! Now I have a couple of fun art pieces in my garden as little step stones under my stone bench.
