Something Wicked This Way Comes - Halloween ATC Cards for a Swap

I love being apart of crafty swaps, it is an amazing way to to get to know other crafters and also to see how someone create the project in person on just in a picture on your computer screen.  For this swap I am creating a set of 11 ATC cards and also a set of charms to swap with 9 other crafters all with the theme of Halloween, I am going to keep 2 for myself.  Here are the spooky ATC cards I made for the swap.

Here is a video on how I made these fun ATCs.

I loved playing with the stamp set Curls & Swirls from Paper Smooches.  I used it as a black ground for all the cards turning the kraft paper into a design paper with a little black ink.

It is fun to think of your supplies in a different way, for instance taking an Easter die set and using it for a Halloween card.  That is exactly what I did with the Bunny Card die set from Paper Smooches, the set had some fun shapes that I could use in on these cards, but look nothing like a bunny!

The Xyron sticker maker is perfect for sticking small little bits and pieces of paper like the ones die cut from the bunny die.  Xyron makes applying small little bits of paper a breeze to any project!!

I also used the Xyron sticker maker to stick down the punched out black border in the orange foiled paper.  Xyron made creating this spooky border so easy!

Thanks for stopping on by and checking out my fun Halloween ATCs, Happy Halloween!!

Fall Pumpkin Decor with Pastel Colors and Felt

I love to decorate pumpkins during the fall.  This year I felt like doing something a little different and go do with the traditional colors or feel of autumn or Halloween, I went with glam and princess!!

Here is a video on how to make these fun princess pumpkins.

I love the look of the Kunin Felt of the pumpkins, and not to mention the felt is made form recycled plastic bottles!!!  The felt looks soft and dreamy as flowers and leaves and they could not be easier to make since they work amazingly with wafer thin dies.  I love the colors of the felt, I chose the Kunin Premiumfelt in Lagoon, and then in the Classic Felt I used the colors of Baby Pink, Minty, Olive, and Lemon Frost.

Adding a bit of bling and twine just made these pumpkins amazing!!

The best part is I made these pumpkins using Dollar Tree foam and plastic pumpkins, a little but of paint and some fun embellishments and they are completely transformed into a fun Halloween decor item, or amazing Princess party decor!!

Check out all the other designers in the blog hop for Kunin Felt and the Designer Crafts Connection, there are some amazing projects!!   Plus if you leave comments on each of the designers blog post you get a chance to win $75 worth of Kunin Felt!!

Handmade Watercolor Bookmark made from Custom Digi Design Paper

I got these amazing digital images and I decided to turn them into a custom designed paper to then watercolor and make into pretty bookmarks.  Check it out, they so so fun to make!!

Here is a video on how to create a digital paper from images and how I turned them into bookmarks.

I love how pretty these flowers and leaves are.  These are the original images from Koala T Crafts (link below).

I then took the images into Photoshop and made my own background paper.

I then added in some watercolor to the page using reinkers and a water brush filled with alcohol and turned them into bookmarks.

Using the Xyron Creative State Lite and the Laminate cartridge make laminating anything so easy, no heat, no muss, no fuss!!   I added a little jute trim to the top as a tassel to complete my book mark.
