DIY Cute and Easy Kid Friendly Trio of Halloween Banners

I love Halloween and make fun little craft that the kids can get into as well.  Here is a trio of fun and easy Halloween banners that the kids can make as well that a a little spooky, glam, and fun!

Various companies provided me with some product to create this project.  The opinions I share are solely my own.

Here is a video on how to make these fun banners.

I got my inspiration from the Texas Pinners Conference where Michael's was making these cute banners.  They gave me a few supplies and then I added a few of my own tweaks and altered the design a bit to make them my own.

So with a few ideas in my head and my own supplies, I set out to make my own set of banners.  Here are a few of the supplies I used.

The first one is a spooky ghost feel.  I used Colorbox Crafter's Ink in Snow to ink the edges of the banner and create the ghost like look to the background.  The added the google eyes and "BOO" embroidered letters to the paper using the Xyron 3" Sticker Maker, since it turned anything into a sticker!

The next banner is all about the spider.  I used a crystal spider stuck on with the Xyron 3" Sticker Maker on a banner inked in orange from the Colorbox Paintbox set and stamped an "EEK" with Colorbox Crafter's Ink in Night.

The last banner is all about the felt flowers and the skull.  Something about the scary and the pretty just work together.  I again used the Clearsnap Crafter's Ink in Night to ink the edges and also along the paper to give it some extra texture.  Using the Xyron 3" Sticker Maker again to stick down the crystal skull, I also used the Xyron Tape Runner to run a strip of adhesive along the top of the banner to stick the paper straw along the top and then ran the twine thru to complete each of the banners.

I used the Xyron Adhesive Eraser to remove any little cobweb from in between the letters and also from my craft mat for super easy clean up!

Have a great Halloween!!

Foiled Stenciled Halloween "Boo" Banner

Halloween is such a fun time to decorate, and what is better than a fun little banner!!  A little orange foiled paper, with some stencils, and a couple of handmade spiders, how spooktactular!!

Various companies provided me with some product to create this project.  The opinions I share are solely my own.

Here is a video on how I made this fun banner.

I love the look of the Rinea foiled paper with the stencil on it. I had to use 2 different stencils to get the letters for the word "BOO" from The Crafter's workshop, a great way to use some extra use out of your word stencils if you just look for letters and mix and match them.

I also added some fun little crystal spiders that I made with gems to the sides of the banner.  I used Supertite All Purpose glue to make sure they got stuck down.
