Trio of Ice Cream Cards

Ice cream so yummy and can make such cute little addition to a card with a stamp!  Here is a trio of color coordinating cards with a cute little ice cream characters as the focal point.

Check out the video on how I made these sweet cards.

Xyron and Lawn Fawn are teaming up this month for a round of super cute projects both both teams.  Make sure to check out the amazing projects

I first got my box of goodies and ordered the super sweet Sweetest Flavor Stamp and Die set and I had to create something with it right away, so I made a fun little inchie.  I used my Xyron 3" Inch Sticker Maker to stick everything together for this little inchie, made it super easy since all the pieces were so small.

Here is the video unboxing and all the other fun little extras of papers, twine, and inks I got too!

Now onto the cards.  I decided to use the colors of the inks as the inspiration for each of the cards and the twine as the color for the ice cream.  This first card uses the Lawn Fawn Lobster and blue Trimming twine paired with various Lawn Fawn papers.  Keeping simple lines and let the cute stamp shine makes this card easy to replicate!

Next is the Lawn Fawn Peacock Ink as the focal point with the yellow twine.  I used the Xyron Mega Runner to help keep all the layers of papers together and lined up perfectly.  I also used the Xyron 3" Sticker Maker to make my own "pop dots" from card board to help pop up the circle and ice cream cone.  Check out the video to see how easy it is to make your own "pop dots".

And last is the purple themed card with the Sugarplum ink.  I messed up and did not follow my trends of matching the color of the ice cream to the twine color, instead I used the Derwent Procolour Pencils and used a light purple color (heather 23) to color the ice cream to also match the color of the Lawn Fawn Watercolor papers, and it looks great!

I love when I can use one design to make a set of cards.  I could make so many of these cards and they would all looks a little different by just using a different set of color of papers, twine, and colors of the ice cream!
