I got a chance to do a border swap with a talented artist Julie from the International Crafters Facebook group. The goal was to make a set of paper borders for cards, scrapbook pages, mini books, tags, really you can use them for what ever you want and Julie and I got partnered up. I sent her a set of 10 borders I made, and she sent me at set of 10 that she made.
Here is a video of her 10 borders, plus some other fun things she made and send along.
Her are a few of Julie's borders up close (some are above too). The rest of the borders are on the video, plus all the extra goodies she sent.
I took a much different approach to the borders, using a stamped and re-inker watercolor effect doing a variety of different colors but all the the same technique. Here is a video tutorial on how I made my borders.
Here is a few up close.
I really had fun with this swap, not only did I do something a little different, but I also got to see first hand some amazing art that someone else created!!
