Cute & Easy Yarn Wrapped Chicks

I love to have a fun kids craft on hand for the spring and Easter seasons and this is so cute and fun even the adults will get into it!  All you need is some paper, yarn, and Xyron adhesive!

There are some pretty basic supplies you need for the cute kids craft including:

• Cardstock - pick some fun colors
• Oval Die - or way to make ovals - can be done by hand and scissors
• Yarn - pick your favorite colors
• 3" Disposable Sticker Maker
• Xyron Adhesive Eraser Cube
• Google Eyes

Star by cutting out the oval shapes and then running them though the Xyron Sticker Maker to make it sticky.  This is the key, it makes it super easy for the kids to wrap the yarn around the oval shapes to build the shape of the chick.  Have fun with the colors of the yarn, for what is wrong with a purple chick?

Cut out beak and feel with fun colored cardstock, pick out your googly eyes and use the Xyron Sticker Maker to make them all into sticker to attach them to the chicks.  Remove any extra sticky with the Xyron Eraser Cube on the feet before sticking them on.

My daughter had even more fun and added in gems to the ears to give her chicks earrings, got to love it!  That is all part of the fun, let them create their own chicks!
