My kids have figured out that if they need something for a costume, a project needing done, they know who had the supplies....me. So when my son wanted to be a knight, but not just a knight a skeleton knight, we needed to make a sword and shield. I can do that!
First was the sword, I used cardboard as the base to put the whole thing together.

I love how the bling works on the hilt, really make the whole thing pop!
Next came the shield, still using cardboard as a base.

I used a star in the middle to be the focal point for the shield and kept all the colors consistent.
