Best Wishes - Card - Memory Maze Blog Hop

Welcome to the Memory Maze's first ever blog hop!!

If you didn't come from Misty Willis blog or you popped upon this blog and didn't realize we were blog hopping you need to go to the Memory Maze blog and start the HOP!

You will need to comment on ALL of the blogs to be eligible for the prize. Plus some of our awesome designers are giving away a prize on their blogs as well.

Here's what you could win from Memory Maze.

The Winner will be announced at the Memory Maze blog on the 26th May!
Our theme for this blog hop is Technique, each of our wonderful design team members will show you how to decorate those chipboard pieces or create new chipboard pieces.

For my technique I used the ability of chipboard to be pulled apart when soaked in water.  Soak the chipboard completely in water for at least 20 min.  Then carefully pull apart the layers.  Most have 2-3, sometimes 4.

Now I have the same chipboard piece in triplicate rather than just one of it.  I laid each layer out to dry over night before doing anyhting else to them.

Here you can see how much thinner one layer is compared to the full thickness of Memory Maze chipboard.  Be careful with the thinner layers, they are fragile and flimsy, but perfect if you like flat layouts or use the chipboard as a background layer.

To win a prize from me you need to comment on this post and follow my blog, that is it!!

Here is a little pic of the prize you will get.  Lot so Memory maze chippies, journal cards, buttons, ephemera, picture frames, fibers, post cards, and stamps!!

Our blog hop runs from today, Monday 20th May, Invite your Friends to play along. You must comment on all the blogs for a chance at the Prize.

The Winner will be announced here on the 26th May, but don't forget to also check the other blog and Memory Maze to see if you won!!!

The next stop on the blog hop is Rebecca Mosher so pop on over and let them know what your favorite piece of Memory Maze chipboard is.

Thank you for playing along with our first Blog Hop, we hope that you had fun and will be back to join in again.
Here is a list and order for our blog hop.

  7. Misty didn't have a post up so I had to go back to Memory Maze to find out who was next. I love the idea of being able to use more bang for your buck!!! Thanks for the awesome technique. I'm glad it didn't affect the chipboard as much as I thought putting it in water would. I am a new follower.

  9. Love the repetetive patterns on this card - what a clever idea to soak a chipboard in water to split it - perfect if you have just one but need several, or want it flatter.
