In my mind the key to not being frustrated when crafting is knowing where your supplies are so you do not spend an hour looking for that perfect item for your project. So in that respect, organization is key!! For me, I was sorely lacking in my organization of all my little burlap, canvas, and fabric pieces, which also includes my ropes and fringes (pretty much my Canvas Corp stash). I had them in a bag by my desk all in knots and in a complete mess. It took forever to untangle it all when i needed to find just one color of piece of something. So frustrating!! Plus since it was fabrics and burlap, it would pull apart and shred on me, and a lots a ton of product just due to poor storage.
I had this Deflecto Carousel Rotating Organizer sitting on my shelf empty for the last 3 months wondering what I could use it for. Why never thought to put these two things together (the organizer and fabric stash) was beyond me, I chalk it up to lack up sleep and kids. Well now they are a perfect match and check out my video on how I put it all together!!
Not only is the organizer a carousel, so it is super easy to see each bin's contents, they also pull out for easy accessibility, and they are stackable!!

I am always looking for a good way to store my crafty supplies. As my supply increases or my use of items changes, I need to revamp how I organize my supplies. Two major places I was having problems is in my drawer where I keep my supplies from Canvas Corp Brands. Since I use those supplies a ton, I like to keep them handy, but the drawer gets very messy fast with all the little embellishments that I have. This where the amazing little storage unit was perfect for me. It still fits in my drawer for my Canvas Corp supplies, but it helps keep all these little pieces a litter more organized!!

I made these beautiful flowers from flat paper flowers from Eyelet Outlet. They are already beautiful, I just wanted something fuller for the card. Below is my video tutorial on how I made these super easy and beautiful flowers.

I used the Creative Embellishments Chipboard Nesting Hearts and Dream Words. I picked out 3 hearts and layered them on top of each there, but left them raw. I then use the "dream" word and painted it lime green to match the papers and flowers, and then misted it with Tattered Angels Key Lime Pie Glimmer Mist to make it sparkle!
I used the wonderful Canvas Corp Brands products for the base of the card. From the papers, to the card base, rope, lace, paints, and mists.
I love getting a new shipment of goodies from Canvas Corp Brands. Not only are the products amazing, but the are priced so well!! Here is my latest batch of yummy products I just got in!!
