Candy Explosion Easter Basket

I wanted something to give out to the teachers for Easter, and who does not love candy on a stick?  So I made a explosion candy basket.  I can take it up to the school and either drop it off at the front office for the teachers lounge or let the kids pull the sticks to pass out to the teachers and let everyone have a little something to brighten their day.

Here is a video tutorial on how I made this fun explosion basket filled with candy on a stick!!

Staycation Spring Break Flip Book **Paper House & Xyron**

I have never done a Spring Break Scrapbook, so thought thought I would do a mini version on a flip book album I just got from Paper House.  We did lots of fun little things from seeing the Texas Capital and see the Senate in session, go to the Cameron Zoo in Waco, see a fault line Cavern at Wonder World, go to a new park, see family, play with friends, the kids have sleepovers, and they played in a creek.  We had so much fun that why not make a mini album of the highlights from our Spring Break!

Each page your flip up, pull out, or flip over has journaling or a picture.  This little flipbook is so easy to make, and the kit even comes with stickers!!!  Here is a video on how I put it all together.

Here are some close up pcitures of some of the pages, the rest are all in the video.

I used some of the sculpted stickers from Paper House to add to the book, some for something a little different on this zoo page.

The flipbook even has its own stand, so you can rest it on the counter!!

Spring Mantle Decor - Giant Paper Roses

I have had an itch to make some giant paper flowers, but using my scrapbook paper.  I have had no specific occasion to make them, like a wedding or party, so I thought why not just use them to decorate my mantle!  Lets turn my mantle into something pretty for spring!

These flowers are fun and easy, plus they use scrapbook paper and the Xyron Mega runner!!!!  I love the gold, black, and white look of these flowers, it really makes them pop!!  Here is a video tutorial on how to make the flowers.

Here are some close up pictures of the roses and gold Adore banner.

If you want to make you own flowers you can either use the trace and cut method or cut it with your cutting machine.  Click on the flower below for the trace and cut method, instructions on on the printable!
